HIGH SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT & DISTRICT 15 NJTL

District 15NJTL shares those views of coaching that the Elm Tree of Mastery will lead to winning.  Before establishing his double goal coaching philosophy at S.R.H.S. – Coach Danise shared those views with our AAU Junior Olympic Teams.  Establishing the ROOTS of their Journey.  Training is not only learning the techniques and tactics of tennis, it’s providing the fun and fulfillment of understanding and respecting what roots represents:

·       Rules:  making it fair for everyone

·       Opponents:  a worthy opponent is a gift.

·       Officials:  honoring the game means respecting officials.

·       Teammates:  never do anything, on or off the field, which would embarrass team or self.

District 15 NJTL is prepared to assist the high schools in Indian River and Palm Bay Counties by providing its athletes with low cost tennis and life programs.  We agree with coach when he measures success by the athletic task accomplishments not just the scoreboard.  His understanding, that the Elm Tree of Mastery cannot produce its fruit during the tennis season unless the seeds of EFFORT, LEARNING, & MANAGING MISTAKES are watered year round.

HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS PLAYER PROGRAM

May and June is the time to prepare for September LET Program.  Who says tennis is too expensive?  

It is now possible to receive a semi-private lesson and two clinics in the same week for only $17.50.

This is HOW IT WORKS!  If you take doubles and stroke of the week clinic in the same week you pay a total of $7.50 which entitles you and another participant to have a semi-private lesson for only $10.00 each.

Tuesday – STROKE OF WEEK – (6:30 pm to 7:30 pm)

Wednesday – DOUBLES – (6:00 pm – 7:30 pm)

(1 hour clinic and ½ hour play)

High School Students pay $5.00 for attending one clinic and $2.50 for second clinic in same week.  Player is now eligible for semi-private clinic with another student who obtained eligibility.
